Ekeren

I lived for a short time in Ekeren. I lived in a street which was simply called “Bist.”

I loved riding my bicycle through the streets of the city. I would sometimes walk through the square near the church. I loved to stop and get frieten at one of the frituren.

Sometimes we would ride the train into Antwerp.

Those were the days.
