Worth visiting!
it’s a one of a kind cafe, in North Beach, (the little Italy of SFO)
it is simultaneously a place for locals to hang out, as well as a tourist trap of sorts.
BUT. very entertaining. (they tend to hire young Italian barristas, who sing while whipping up your latte)
i guess the reason the locals like it: one of the rare places with interesting food (as opposed to Mel’s Diner) that stays open QUITE late, (for SF)... I’ve heard of huge huge groups enjoying watching the Soccer World Cup there, at 4 in the morning…
the espresso drinks are great. love the Tiramisu. And the pasta…
