Pagadian

This city can be reached by road that runs along a hill above the city. You get a dramatic entrance down the street from the bus terminal, you enter the busy city where few foriegners are seen. Food is cheap by Philippines standards and accomodation can be very cheap if you shop around. Napsally’s is in main street and is one of the cheapest. Someone was shot dead while I was staying so be aware of this element, but it is still a rear event.

it makes me sad to think that i have been to more places when i was in high school than right now. twelve years ago, this place was in my not worth visiting list. the airport was in the middle of a desert it seemed. and the water was terrible (i’m not even going to describe how it was). i hope it’s gotten better since.
