Hookipa Beach

this is a great spot to watch folks surfing etc even if you’re not a surfer yourself. the water is beautiful here and really impressive waves make for an interesting time.

This is the spot for all of the surfers/kiteboarders/windsurfers in the world to make a pilgrimage to. It is epic. There can be winds of 30 knots crossing waves of 15 feet on a pretty average day in the winter and that leads to blast off!Watching the world class surfers and windsurfers here is a dizzying experience. I have seen guys like Robbie Naish hit double loops on a windsurfer. It can be an awesome place to hang out and watch it all. I recommend coming here at least once during your trip.
