Why I want to go to this place
We’ve lived in Mt. Juliet for over a year now, moving from Atlanta. It has the charm of a small town with the conveniences of the big city in very near proximity. The only problem is that the police think they need to stop everyone who goes 5 miles over the speed limit. One night a couple of weeks ago my son and I witnessed that there were 4 separate incidents of cars stopped by the Mt. Juliet police within a mile stretch of road. This town is a speed trap, the worst I’ve ever seen. And, yes, they’ve gotten me once . . .

My favorite restaurant is Olive Garden. Now they are building one in Providence Mall right by my house. Its the little things in life that can bring joy!

Can you find home on a map?
Home isn’t a place, per se. I think it may be more of a memory; real or altered. Home is were you got your first kiss, learned to fish, or got in BIG trouble for the first time. Though all things change, home is where dim memories and misty nostalgia make a firm foundation for the chaos of life to grow.
I can never go home again, but I can still live in Mt. Juliet.

My Hometown
At first I was growing up in a small town, but now my small town is growing up around me. Although I love the small town charm it is nice to see all the new stores and restaraunts everyday. Just a few minuets from downtown Nashville I would say Mt. Juliet is a great place to visit or live.
