When we told the cab driver we were going to the tram, he asked “do you guys know how much it costs?” “My kids want to do that… I’ve been in the city for 30 years and haven’t taken it ..”

It’s $2 each way (you can’t use your unlimited MetroCard). I took some friends who were visiting NYC on it. It was a fun way to see the skyline from a different viewpoint.
