Notre Dame Stadium

lots of energy in this place. one of my favorite places of all time. Go IRISH!

This is one of the most magical places I’ve ever been to. Even after living here for almost 9 years, after I’ve been to several games here, I still get all wide-eyed when I enter the stadium. Its always a big deal and its just magical. I get the same tingly sensation from Wrigleyfield.
Even though most of my feelings are sentimental, even as a visitor you can get a contact high from the energy in the air on game day. Its all an experience. Food is everywhere. Usually from the dorms cooking out burgers and brats for cheap. The liturgical Choir usually sings to you while hooking you up with tasty burgers. . Everyone lines up for the band to follow them into the stadium as they clap along to the music. Tailgate people all over the outskirts of campus. Many will offer you a beer as you walk by in your Irish gear. I love gameday. (Unless of course you have somewhere else to be, then the traffic is horrible) Also, the rest of the town is usually dead during the game.
