Pantai Chinta Berahi

I guess the proper spelling is “cinta” under ejaan baru, but when I stayed there in 1973, it was one of the most beautiful unspoiled beaches on the planet. I was in training for the Peace Corps and we stayed in bungaloos at the resort by the same name. Purely idyllic. Now I hear it has been renamed Pantai Cahaya Bulan (Moonlight Beach). My guess is the Muslim-led government felt the old name was too suggestive.
