Just came back from Belize by PolyStyrene
I just came back from a week long trip to Belize and I would go back in a heartbeat. It was so fun and easy to get around and everyone we met welcomed us with open arms. This is one of the most positive travel experiences I ever had. While in the Cayo district, we stayed at the Martz Farm Treehouse and Cabanas. The Martinez family is amazing. Mariam cooks all sorts of delicious things and she is funny and friendly too. Jose will take you horseback riding, drive you to the border of Guatemala, take you swimming through an amazing lake to get to a beautiful, hidden water fall, and recites his poetry by candlelight. If you looked up the definition of hospitality, you would probably see pictures of Mariam and Jose. They made our trip fantastic.
