Historic Charleston

I’m in love with historic Charleston, what can I say! It’s absolutely gorgeous here, and it’s just oozing with historic authenticity. I’d love to spend some more time here, but the hubby and I will need to do more research before booking an inn. We stayed at the Old Post House in Mt. Pleasant. Beautiful and unique property in a quiet and quaint part of town, but it was SO noisy. It didn’t help that our room was above the kitchen… anyway, stay some place else and everything will be ALL better.

and it’s one of those beautiful places you say…“we need to go back there”….and you don’t quite make it back. Going to do Charleston again with Savannah, allowing more time to visit both. We stayed at the Vendue Inn….I remember our room being close to registration and loud.

A very beautiful place. I’m a big history buff so i really loved it, plus it’s a lot of my heritage being from North Carolina. Definitely worth the trip.
