Hidden Gem by globallagarto

This small (in size) museum in the former mansion of an eccentric millionaire is one of the greatest hidden gems of art anywhere. It’s mindboggling. Works from Picasso at his prime, Matisse murals, etc. Don’t miss it.

Many people don’t know about the Barnes and it happens to be one of the best museums in the U.S.- conveniently located 10 minutes from where I live. A must see for any artist. They will be moving the Barnes to the Parkway so I urge everyone to see it before it moves. Don’t pay the $10 for parking. Street parking is available a few blocks away but the neighborhood is a wee bit rough so CLUB your car.

Before it moves by PattyTrish

The Barnes is on its way to Philadelphia. I want to see it before it leaves its current home!
