A Game at Yankee Stadium

I’ve been to Yankee Stadium several times for ball games even though I live in Indiana. My boyfriend at the time (now fiance’) are big time yankees fans and have been forever, so this is something we both love and enjoy doing together. Nothing compares to seeing the yankees IN THEBRONX! We spent a week in nyc and attended the 3 day series against boston in mid-september of 2006 for my birthday. The afternoon games are nice but im a bigger fan of the night games. I love the lights, sounds, cheering, smells….ok all that goes on throughout the game. We really had a great time and cant wait until next years trip back to the bronx!! GO YANKEES!

I saw the yankees beat the mets in 2001. Mike piazza hit a home run and got booed. Tino hit a homer and made a curtain call to raise his cap to the crowd. One guy told me I was confused because I was cheering for the mets at a yankee game wearing a twins shirt with a rockies hat on. Then we had a beer!

we have tickets for the whole family for the mets vs yankees game on june 15th.
