Chama, NM - A Wide Spot in the Road by russellviii
After leaving Pagosa Springs, Colorado we continued down the road toward Taos, New Mexico, our intended destination for the evening. Our journey took us across the state line into New Mexico, and eventually we crossed the Continental Divide.
After pausing for a few pictures at the Continental Divide we started looking for a place to eat lunch. According to the GPS we were using, there were not a whole lot of populated areas in that region of the state. Our best bet to find a place to eat was the town of Chama, a few miles away.
We pulled into Chama and found a restaurant. Chama itself, is very small town with a population of about 1200. It wasn’t a terribly busy place, but the people were nice, and the food was good.
