Worth visiting!
On business
Not to be confused with old Fort Dodge in Kansas, this one is in Iowa, north-northwest of Des Moines. It’s a nice quiet community with midWestern values—the kind of place you’d love to raise kids in and call home. I interviewed an elderly woman who spent most of her life there. She gave a fascinating account of the town and her family’s role there. I was surprised to see Fort Dodge not listed here among Iowa towns, so I added it. Population according to the 2000 census: 25,135.
