I didn’t realise it was in Minneapolis until I first started planning my trip… It’s worth spending a few hours exploring the exhibits and [free!] garden. My favorite experience at the museum was walking through the odd room/cave sculpture in the Cameron Jamie exhibit. over 6 years agoSculpture Garden by wanderswithwhimsySculpture doesn’t get much better than the Cherry on a Spoon fountain by Claes Oldenburg. I could picnic nearby everyday (well, maybe only occasionally in the snow). In Picnicing nearby sculpture location preferences, I’d have to say that the Spoon and Cherry is second only to the Buried Bicycle by the same artist in Parc De la Villette in Paris, France. I love the sculpture Garden at the Walker art center. It’s one of my favorites. over 7 years agoSee all 9 entries |
