Barksdale Air Force Base

This was a stopover on a military flight I took out of Japan back in 1988. It was the next stage in a flight that had previously departed from Dyess Air Force Base in Texas. I was here for only a few hours, but I remember that the architecture of the base buildings was very cool. I suspect it had previously been a plantation.

Note: I don’t think the “worth/not worth visiting” rating counts here. I suspect that anyone who tried to “visit” would be detained or shot!
