Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts

I practically lived here when I was in high school. The campus was beautiful even before they began renovating, and roaming the sidewalks of the 10 or so blocks around Lincoln Center was one of the defining moments of my youth.

I’m going on my own, since it’s hard to get people to go to the ballet and the opera, especially without my mum here.

I had my High School graduation ceremony at Lincoln Center. I went to the High SChool for Music, Art, and the Performing Arts, which is just down the block! The fountain is a lovely and romantic place to sit and relax, especially in the summer, if you can find a free spot to sit.

Home to a dozen or so bastions of high culture in the city. In the summer, they also offer Midsummer Night Swing on the main pavillion. The Library of the Performing Arts is also in the complex.
