Rocky Hill

Actually, I live here and I like it. It’s pretty small but I like that it has an original name (not like NEW Britain or Bloomfield) and that you can basically sleep on the sidewalk and wake up alive. I’d like to see more family-owned stores here, but if you like chains then there are plenty of them. The only thing is that no one comes here because there’s nothing to do unless you look around. There is a ferry across the CT river in the summer and that’s pretty fun. There’s also a big bus company that keeps its school buses on its front yard along with a couple of life sized plastic cows. (That’s near my house!) There’s also the Dinosaur State Park, which is also cool. I haven’t seen the inside (of the actual building) for a while because they renovated it after the last time I toured it, but the paths are fun. And free :)
Hmm… I’m trying really hard to think of other things about Rocky Hill. It’s on the border of Wethersfield and Newington… It has a sucky youth theater program… I guess you could say it has a shortage of people with unnatural hair colors, so we need to balance that out! And… that’s it.
