My husband and I love this place and we used to go every time we visited NYC — until we moved to NYC :) The injera is better than some other places. Everything we’ve ordered is good. It’s not a huge restaurant so try coming at a less busy time if you don’t want to wait. You may have to gesture wildly to get your check.

However, I took my parents here and they HATED IT! They said it was the worst food they ever had. (Our meal was very good that day, so don’t blame the restaurant). Some Ethiopian food can be spicy and I think it was just too weird for my parents. So be careful who you bring.

Great Samosas and my favorite is vegetable number two. Traditionally, you eat with your hands, but if you are not up for that just beg for utensils like the table next to me did. You are missing out though!!
