Squeaky Castle! by funkfaerie
If you’re in Kyoto, this one is definately worth checking out… the palace inside was originally made with a ‘Nightingale Floor’, which meant that it squeaked everytime you stood on it… so intruders could be heard immediately. It’s interesting to hear heaps of tourises squeaking around on these floorboards. The gardens are quite nice too, and there’s a whole row of Sakura you can see blooming in springtime.
