Cattleman’s, it seems, is a very sought out place to go when one is in the El Paso, TX area. Actually it’s not in El Paso. It’s actually about 20 miles East of El Paso. You get off of I-10 at Exit 49/Fabens. At the stop sign you turn left, go over the overpass, go through the desert for several miles. It will be on your right. There will be signs and a few entrances that SHOULD be indicated as you get to the establishment. If you go during daylight you should be able to see some of the restaurant before you get right on it. The steaks are really good. I like the filet mignon’s and the kabobs myself. I go there every once in a while. Fair warning though: during Mother’s or Father’s Day it can get very busy and there can be a considerable amount of wait if you go around 6 or 7.
