Highway at the Roof of the World

According to the Guardian Unlimited, the 485km drive from Manali to Leh is one of the Five Best Road trips in the world. (note that it is navigable for just a dozen or so weeks a year -mid-July to mid-September – and you can expect to take two days on the trip.)
