Nymphenburg Castle

If I remember correctly this castle was owned by a man whom really wanted children. If i have the story right I think that they tried for children many times, but failed… when they finally succeded he was so happy that he gave a gift to his wife which was part of the castle. For later births he had an additional wing added and a church built for his wife. Incredible isn’t it?

I grew up nearby. Ride the tram to get there, go for a walk, watch the swans and look at all the smaller castles inside the estate. The museums are pretty cool as well.

This estate is huge and between the buidling and grounds, it makes for a nice stroll espeically when the weather is nice.
