six months ago or so…

mouth-watering chaat food (chaat is like Indian tapas – small plates, tasty, kind of fast-foody, but nothing like mickey d’s!)

Vik’s used to be much better than it is now (as most places, the quality has gone down since it’s popularity and fame have risen) yet it’s still a great place to grab chaat.

it’s in a warehouse-y area of berkeley, though, so don’t be afraid when you get lost on your way there… you prolly will, but then again, you’ll find your way quickly enough too! Just follow the smell of fresh fried samosas…
