What a view, what a lovely little City! Perfect for winter, but also summer. Tyrol is the most beutiful country in the world!

My German host family brought me here twice, once in autumn to hike through the mountains, then again in winter to teach me how to ski. It was a trial by fire, but I managed to survive with all limbs attached, and acquired a love of the sport in the process.

OK, it’s beautiful and the skiing is lovely. I mean, really it’s a lovely place to go skiing. Stunning.

But man oh man did i encouter some problems with the locals. And i never have that problem, ever.
So I hope i don’t offend anyone. It could just have been my bad luck, but it does linger as a memory i’m afraid.

Perhaps too much Ibiza for the winter sports crowd, and far too crowded over the Christmas holidays, but a charming and interesting area to visit. Unless apres ski and partying until dawn is the real purpose of your holiday, I would suggest staying over in one of the lovely villages in the area.

Not so good for begineers..
