This is an enormous white wedding cake of a hotel along the Nile, right down the Corniche from the Temple of Luxor. Even if you’re not staying there, it’s worth a peek inside to see the lobby and gardens. There’s a great little photo and souvenir shop downstairs that sells vintage photos of Egypt dating from 1910-on…
