Chicago Water Tower aka: Old Water Tower

Growing up, my parents had a picture of this on the wall in the dining room. I asked my dad what it was and he said “it’s where we put Aunt Susie when she was bad.” I just took his word for it, until I grew up and knew better :)

It was funny to see the place where they “put Aunt Susie” after all these years.

Water Tower is huge. It’s a nice mall with good food and a lot of stores but there’s no small Mom and Pop type stores.

An absolutely fabulous handade soap shop in the Marshall Field’s now Macy’s store!
