Skating On the Rideau Canal in winter

This is one of the best winter activities in our city during the winter. The Rideau Canal is the longest outdoor skating rink in the world. It is approximately 4.5 miles long, running from the beautiful National Arts Center (NAC) in the heart of downtown, to Dow’s Lake.
