Why I recommend this place to visitors
I love Flaming Amy’s because it makes a burrito for EVERYONE! I have to say I haven’t been since 2003 (although I had my brother drive me up a burrito – 800 miles to my door since that time.) Another thing I liked about the restaurant was the look, but I have to say it looks like it’s been changed since that time – It looks a little “fancier” if that word can be used here. (maybe it’s just my memory, though) See they still have the salsa cart, though, cool!
As long as Flaming Amy’s is still serving up their long list of burritoes with every ingredient imaginable and all their creative salsas – which the menu says it does – I recommend this place! Go now!

How this place changed my life
The best burritos and salsa East of the Mississippi. Seriously. I miss this place so much. I would love to open one in Albuquerque. New Mexico needs Flaming Amy’s.

Minneapolis
Worth visiting!
The first time I went to this place
The first & only time I was here – was in this photo. It reminded me a lot of the tatu / piercing joint (Saint Sabrina’s) by my house here in Minneapolis.
They have a “Tattoo Tuesday’s” – Show a tatu on Tuesday & get some sort of discount (10, 15, 20% – something like that)... there are manequins, pink flamingos, bold bright colours – all sorts of strange & interesting things that I never expected to find in Wilmington.
The food is “Mexican” – not authentic – but good food. They have vegetarian offerings (again, didn’t except a lot of that in Wilmington – shame on me)...
The employees were all the sorts I would expect to see in my neighborhood here at home – tatued, pierced, dressed in all sorts of interesting ways – again… not what I would have expected there…
So, I loved that I realized what a stereotypical view I had (to some extent) & that this place helped me break down any of those silly ideas… and helped me feel even more at home…
