Jungfraujoch Rail Trip

I’ve only been skiing once in my life, and it was here. What a fun day!

Beautiful. It is one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. The sparkling snow seems to go on forever. Visited in the summer of 07. I would definately recommend it. Lots to see and do- ice palace, sledging, husky rides, snowboarding, skiing. The train journey up the mountain does take a while, I think it’s somewhere in the region of two hours. Tip

make sure you eat something before you go up because the altitude thins your blood and I ended up very ill with altitude sickness- so be careful. Otherwise it is brilliant!!

I was there when I was 10….
I was traveling Europe with my parents in some kinda packaged tour…
I hated it from London to Frankfurt… Salzburg…
Went to different places but hated it except this place!
This place is just absolutely amazing!!!
I really want to go back there again!
It’s such a wonderful experience!

Start in the valley where it was warm and at the second to last stop, it was so cold I had to buy a sweater from the nearby shop. The most pleasant women gave my an Edelweiss flower. I now carry it behind my passport for good luck while traveling.

and my sister got bad altitude sickness. It was either here or somewhere else, but in any case, it was the most amazing thing to look out over so many mountains completely covered in snow. So different to the ‘snowy mountains’ here in Australia. I felt like I was on top of the clouds in some fantasy land. Amazing!
