Canal Cruise

It’s basically a way of seeing everything you can see on foot with less effort, covering more space in less time. A tad expensive but affordable.

This is a fantastic way to see the city.

….I am actually one of the only people in a boat that got STUCK under one of the bridges. It only took about 10 minutes to wiggle us free, but it was a funny experience.

If breathing in smoke isn’t your cup of tea, you might want to watch out. These cruises are in enclosed boats and smoking is permitted… and just as an extra hint, I have had experiences where they haven’t taken kindly to foreigners asking them to put out their cigarette! So if you are going, sit right next to a window! ;)

It was chilly and lightly raining when I toured Amsterdam via canal cruise. It was a great way to see much and be out of the rain.
