Farmers' Market

The most interesting part of the market is what is outside the grey barn. People sell fresh fruit and vegetables or bread, maple syrup, and apple cider products. Inside the grey barn, there are various butcher shops, bakeries, and preserve stores. At one end there is a food vending area. The Apple Fritter Co. did not give me real maple syrup with my 3 fritters. They deep fry apple fritters in the stall. No cinammon or sugar added. Perogie Palace cooked perogies to perfection – crunchy outside, but they use frozen perogies from bags. It’s interesting to see Amish/Mennonite people around.
