A tip I have about this place

I had some connecting flights through here on my (current) trip. It’s an okay airport, but I have had bad luck with nearly every connection being late due to storms in the midwest or inbound flight delay. The hub and spoke system truly sucks.

Tip: if you’re going to Cincinnati, it is often far cheaper to fly into Indianapolis, Louisville or Dayton and drive a rental car.

Bonus tip: In Concourse A is a fine tribute to porcine aviation:

Got re-routed here instead of Salt Lake on a flight from PDX to San Antonio. Added 3 hours to our red-eye trip, boo.

Fine for a short layover

I was rerouted through CVG on a trip from Salt Lake City to Chicago in 2001. Made for a fine stopover, I suppose, especially since it allowed us to avoid a line of crazy snowstorms for the most part. But I wasn’t on the ground long enough to get a good idea of the airport.
