Litchfield National Park

At it’s finest. Beautiful waterfalls, fantastic trails and gorgeous wildlife. I have never seen anything so beautiful… before or since.

Less busy and more waterfalls than Kakadu and you can actually swim here. I stayed overnight but a day trip would still be worth it.

Unlike what some people say I wouldn’t miss kakadu to see it, but it really is worth it!

Litchfield is only a couple of hours out of Darwin – perfect for a day trip. There are a number of different waterfalls, some of which you can swim in all year round (some are dry season only). If you live in Darwin, or are just visiting, Litchfield is a must on your ‘to visit’ list.
