Chena Hot Springs

When I was there it was -20(F). You would think that you would freeze to death getting out, but you don’t. Your body temp is pretty high so you don’t notice the cold nearly as much as you’d think. I think the coldest part was getting in the first time, it seemed to be even colder than when we got back in about 2 hours later with damp swimsuits on.

if you can get past the smell of sulfur (natural hotsprings) its the best -summer and winter! indoor warm pool, and hot tubs (indoor and out) cabins, lodge and camping area. lots to do! trails for sking or walking too
