The Pub At Third Place

This pub is one of the best in Seattle! It is underneath the excellent Third Place Books, but the pub also has bookshelves stocked with awesome books and lots of board games. Probably 2/3 of the people there, including me and my buddy, were playing some kind of board game.

Also their beer selection is fantastic! They have probably 10 or so mostly good beers on tap, but if that’s not enough, they have very tasty imports in bottles such as my favorite brand Ayinger and at least 5 trippels.

And if that is not enough, the design of it inside is all breathtakingly gorgeous stained wood. The bartop and a few tables are made out of this irregularly shaped pieces of wood sanded and polished down to an oh so smooth surface. I’ll take a picture next time so you can see what I mean. This place is getting added to my hidden gems of Seattle list.
