Country Club Plaza

I love it in the summer, and I love it during winter holidays. Our family lives in KC, so Christmas shopping on the Plaza is one of my favorite things ever!

This is a place for shop-a-holics! Great atmosphere, attractive buildings and a good variety of shops. Always lit up in the winter, a sight to see.

This is a must-see if you can get to KC during the Holidays. When I lived in KC and was always told I had to see the Plaza at Christmas, so a bunch of us poor college kids piled into a friend’s car, drove downtown and waited for darkness….and WOW! What a sight!

I lived in KC as a young girl and we visited the Plaza every Easter… bunny statues, bands playing in the streets, beautiful fountains—so fun! Now, as an adult, my parents have moved back to KC and we’ve made the Plaza part of our Christmas holidays. We saw the lighting ceremony on Thanksgiving – beautiful, and so fun! – and do a lot of shopping there. It’s a great place – a lively intersection of all kinds of people, and you can spend as much or as little as you like. Really fantastic.
