Country Club Plaza

I love it in the summer, and I love it during winter holidays. Our family lives in KC, so Christmas shopping on the Plaza is one of my favorite things ever!

This is a place for shop-a-holics! Great atmosphere, attractive buildings and a good variety of shops. Always lit up in the winter, a sight to see.

This is a must-see if you can get to KC during the Holidays. When I lived in KC and was always told I had to see the Plaza at Christmas, so a bunch of us poor college kids piled into a friend’s car, drove downtown and waited for darkness….and WOW! What a sight!

I lived in KC as a young girl and we visited the Plaza every Easter… bunny statues, bands playing in the streets, beautiful fountains — so fun! Now, as an adult, my parents have moved back to KC and we’ve made the Plaza part of our Christmas holidays. We saw the lighting ceremony on Thanksgiving – beautiful, and so fun! – and do a lot of shopping there. It’s a great place – a lively intersection of all kinds of people, and you can spend as much or as little as you like. Really fantastic.
