Ravenna Park

I have lived across the street from this park for a year and I think it’s awesome. We have walked our cats here but they don’t enjoy it as much. There is a really cool climbing tree but it is inside of the fence they have set up for construction of the new playground at the moment. The playground at the west end of the park has cool equipment like the city park had when I was a kid. There are a few foot bridges that cross the different branches of the ravine. It’s especially fun to come here at night and wander around on the trails.

When looking on google maps, this park doesn’t look that big. However once down in the ravine I feel like I am in a giant forest. This park is awesome for running. There are probably 5 miles of trails in this little park. If you’re looking to get away from the city without driving for an hour, then come hang out at Ravenna Park.
