The place where Joseph Preistly discovered the affects and definitive affects of Oxygen and Carbondioxide. Was at it’s peak one of the greatest Railroad hubs of Central Pennsylvania. It also serves as the joining of the North and West Branches of the Susquehanna River. Northumberland at one times almost became the capitol of Pennsylvania and lost it by only a few citizens, as the capitol was selected my population at the time. It is also situated on the outer reaches of the anthracite region and shiped a good amount fo it on the Railroads. And is only moments from the Susquehanna Vally Mall, and only 15 Minutes from Knoebles http://www.Knoebles.com Americas largest free admission amusement park.
