I didn’t have any ‘touristy’ problems. It was great people-watching. The best destination in the vicinity is on the Via de Condotti – Antico Caffe Greco – a gorgeous, lush coffee shop that has seated some of the most renowned writers, philosophers and musicians ever…a historical and beautiful place. I was told Hans Christian Andersen did some writing here… over 4 years agoUntitled by BBRWilsonVery crowded.. all the Dolce and Gucci shops are literally at the bottom of the Steps.. Untitled by VivaperamoreIf you don’t like crowds and expensive shopping, this isn’t the best place to be. If you want to watch a beautiful sunset while holding a rose that an attractive italian guy bought for you, go there at night. over 4 years agoUntitled by PuddleJump719It being such a tourist trap, there are people everywhere. Watch out for people selling things. There are people who will try to sell you bracelets. As they do, they’ll slip one onto your wrist to show you how good it looks. The bracelets are attached to a line that they will pull to make the bracelet tighter and tighter until you part with some of your money. Not a good feeling! over 4 years agoSee all 16 entries |
