Full of People
Absolutely full of people going up and down, up and down. The crowds add something to the atmosphere of the place, though. It’s fun to be carried down the steps by a human wave.

The first time I went to this place
Great spot for people watching. Find an unoccupied patch of step and sit back.

A tip I have about this place
Yes, it was crowded – the crowds when I was there were mobs of young gorgeous Italians all hanging out and having a good time. I didn’t have any ‘touristy’ problems. It was great people-watching. The best destination in the vicinity is on the Via de Condotti – Antico Caffe Greco – a gorgeous, lush coffee shop that has seated some of the most renowned writers, philosophers and musicians ever…a historical and beautiful place. I was told Hans Christian Andersen did some writing here…

A review of this place
Very crowded.. all the Dolce and Gucci shops are literally at the bottom of the Steps..
If you’re interested, Keats-Shelley museum is at the top on the right hand side..
Keats died there, worth a look..
Impressive though they are, i don’t recommend going in the day..
Leave it till early morning/night if you can.. :)

A tip I have about this place
If you don’t like crowds and expensive shopping, this isn’t the best place to be. If you want to watch a beautiful sunset while holding a rose that an attractive italian guy bought for you, go there at night.
