Vieux Nice

On a hot day the narrow streets offer lots of shade so that you have more energy for exploring. There are lots of great little shops and restaurants here. Try some socca, a local speciality – it’s like a thick pancake, made from chickpea flour and seasoned with pepper. You can buy a portion from lots of places in Vieux Nice for just a couple of euros. Yum!
