I not only went to the festival, but I marched in the parade!Then we won best overall band! It gave me the most amazing feeling. I get a rush performing in general, but this was a different kind. The realization of my surroundings, what was really going on just hit me, and I will remmemner it for the rest of my life.
BTW, for those of you interested in going to the parade, I would advise investing in grandstand tickets. You won’t be able to see from the sidelines. I know from fellow travelers………. over 5 years ago
