The first time I went to this place  — 9 months ago

    Worth visiting!

I’ve been to several Pubs around Ireland, when i was there.
I love them because you can imagine you’re a real Irish and behave like an Irish, with the beer, the music, the people talking to you..
And i’ve been also in not turistic pubs, like in Ballinasloe.
    They was awesome!

irish folk singers are great!  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

We went to Ireland on a bus tour…met an Irish folk singer who was performing at a pub. A friend of mine and I stayed out with him until 5 AM drinking Guiness and rambling about the pubs in this small-ish Irish town. So much fun!

A tip I have about this place  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

Went to Durty Nellies in Bunratty (county Clare, by Shannon). Was great, but expect lots of tourists.. don’t expect to meet a lot of locals at this pub at least.

Another tip.. I stayed at a nearby BnB.. the owners invited me to go to the pub thats within Bunratty Castle. Its where the locals go- awesome, AUTHENTIC musicians, drinks.. definitely the stereotypical- breaking out in song type of places. :)
