To any Hamilton, Montana cowboys out there who are enjoying my 43things entries, please note that I have been happily married to the father of my two children for over 14 years and am not about to abandon them for a Montana cowboy lifestyle. But thank you for the interest, it was flattering.

Here he progressed so rapidly that he entered a partnership to buy the Alice Silver Mine and the Anaconda Silver Mine. When the silver gave out, he caught the great copper boom and amassed a fortune. A man of wide interests, he developed fruit-growing in Montana and owned and trained some of the finest racehorses. Success did not go to his head. He never lost touch with his former pick-and-shovel friends to whom he gave considerable help.”
