Mayotte by russellviii
Mayotte is on of the Comoran Islands, located in the Mozambique Channel, between Mozambique and Madagascar, off the eastern coast of Africa. Unlike the other Comoran Islands, which are part of the Republic of the Comoros, Mayotte has remained an overseas territory of France.
My visit there was short, only a few hours. It is a very beautiful, tropical, and serene place. Mayotte was a much more orderly and calm place than some of the its East African neighbors.
