Platja D'aro

Between ages 10-14, my family went to Platja d’aro for our summer holiday. We had our own camper-tent, we drove up there and camped (can recommend Camping Cala Gogo 4*). Since me and my brother were kids, we didn’t need anything more than sea and sun. At night, we went to town, the shops were open till 9 PM if I’m not mistaken. A lot of cafés on the boulevard, big bowls of icecream, the luna park with ferris wheel and disco rollerskating, minigolf, Ivan’s fast food. The hottest day of the vacation (+/- 32°) we would go to the Aquapark, an amusement park with waterslides.
I’m pretty sure there was a nightlife as well, but I had to be in bed before that started :).
There used to be a carnival in Februari. And the sidewalks had pretty tiles. In short: great fun for kids.
