A review of this place: For vegans  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

They have two delicious vegan pies. One it very light and heaped with raw veggies!

I thought they might have Sicilian square slices given what people were telling me about the place, but I was very happy with the super large thin crust pizza slices they had… It is pretty close to NYC style thin crust pizza, at least in the context of a random neighborhood pizza joint, and not so much a pizza shrine in Brooklyn like Spumoni Gardens or what have you. But it’s better than Pagliacci’s, which is saying something for Seattle pizza. A little more sauce wouldn’t hurt, but otherwise very enjoyable.

Vegans: while they may not have vegan slices, you can order a vegan pizza with lots of things like tomatoes, onions, jicama, red cabbage, jalapeno peppers, poblano peppers, corn and fresh cilantro all marinated in a balsamic-lime-red-wine marinade along with pesto.

Granted this latter part is the west coast slant on this place.. well that and one of the pizza types being unofficially called “The Dav1d B0wie”. :)

New York style Pizza.. in Seattle. Whodathought?  — 2 years ago

So I went out of my way one day on an urban hike to make it to this place, which stands out in an otherwise empty corner of Loyal Heights… only to find the place closed that day. “Closed Mondays”. Aw snap!

I really want to go here. I’ve heard amazing things about the pizza here. I’ve been craving NYC style thick pizza for a long time.
