Sherman

I went to school at Austin College. I hated Sherman at the time, but now that I’m an adult I believe that I’d love to live there. It’s a nice quiet town—a good place to raise a family.

And it has Cellarman’s, the finest pub in the known Universe.

I attended OneDay ‘03 — a large Christian Missions Conference — here in Sherman, TX. It was an amazing weekend. I have never experienced the power of God as I did in this place. You could literally feel it in the air… you knew it was an annointed place. Passion was the host of the weekend — Louie Giglio’s organization. Great speaking from people such as — Beth Moore, Louie Giglio, John Piper, Kirk Cameron, as well as some missionaries. Also, great worship from Matt Redman, David Crowder band, Chris Tomlin, Charlie Hall. The first night I had to spend the night in the car with the people I traveled with due to a HUGE powerful thunderstorm. But the rest of the weekend was beautiful and inspiring.
