depressing as hell. i went here on martin luther king jr. day, and there is shit all going on. nothing. no parades, no posters, no information, no civic events whatsoever. this town is so rediculously gentrified and poor. it’s disgusting. we ate at a diner in the downtown area and the workers all told us they couldn’t afford to move away. super corrupt politicians, zero economy, zero jobs. go there for the history, and you’ll find a ghost town.
