Pacific Ocean

Was yesterday, as I donned my wetsuit and fins, and bobbed in the waves off Redondo Beach.

as corny as it sounds, seeing this changed my life! i would recomend going here to anyone..

I have swum in the pacific ocean on the Australian east coast from as far south as Victoria and as far north as Port Douglas. I have waded but not swum in the ocean on the east coast of Tasmania. I have been to some Pacific Islands in Australia (Heron Island, Fraser Island, Keppel Island, Green Island, Fitzroy Island, Moreton Island/Tangalooma. I went to a pontoon on the outer reef from cairns, kinda sitting on the pacific ocean.

I have been to Pacific Islands outside of Australia, including Fiji (about 5 islands there), and Tahiti (only the one Island).

I have been to newport beach in California, which I guess is on the pacific ocean, but it was too cold to swim that day.

I have been to Honolulu airport, but I’m not sure if that counts, and I have flown over the pacific to north or south america (if you include return trips as separate trips) 5 times.

How can anyone think seeing the Pacific Ocean isn’t worth it? It is such a giant part of the world! I hope to see it one day. Here on the east coast we see sunrises but not sunsets over the ocean and I look forward to seeing that!
